Many governments do not have mechanisms in place to formally track the performance of their vendors. Without an understanding of how vendors are doing, governments are limited in their ability to improve performance or to make well-informed decisions about hiring a vendor in the future or renewing a contract. In this roundtable jointly facilitated by the Procurement Excellence Network team and Results for America, governments met to discuss their questions and ideas about how to fairly evaluate vendor performance and how to best leverage these evaluations for performance improvement.
